Eventide H9000 Gen2 Harmonizer Multi-Effects Processor

The Eventide H9000 Gen2 puts an extensive collection of reverbs, delays, pitch effects and sound-design tools into one hardware Harmonizer. Equally at home adding dimension to a vocal, building a layered synth texture or processing a surround mix, it combines dedicated DSP with flexible studio connectivity and control from the front panel or your computer.

Immersive effects for multichannel production

The latest Gen2 update adds immersive pitch shifting, reverb and upmixing, alongside more than 200 new FX Chains and presets. It opens up further creative possibilities for spatial mixing, film and television post-production, and music production beyond stereo.

• Upmixer: algorithms for expanding sources into Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2 and 7.1 layouts.
• Valley reverb: available in stereo, Quad, 5.1 and 7.1 versions.

The immersive suite is a free update for H9000 Gen2 owners via Emote. This model already includes Gen2 DSP hardware. Owners of an original Gen1 H9000 can move to the newer platform with the separately available Gen2 DSP Upgrade Kit.

More processing power, familiar Eventide character

Four Gen2 quad-core ARM processors provide 16 DSP engines and twice the processing power of the original platform. Choose from over 1,600 algorithms and hundreds of FX Chains, with support for sample rates up to 96kHz across the algorithm library.

Alongside the established Eventide effects, granular tools including Cosmic Web, GrainMod, Glitch and Stutter offer further ways to reshape source material. VocalShift, VocalShiftMIDI and VocalTune extend the vocal-processing options, while SIFT-based polyphonic pitch effects provide another route into creative sound design.

Hardware processing within your DAW workflow

Emote brings editing, routing, automation and session recall to your computer. Use it as a standalone application for Mac or Windows, or within your DAW in AAX, AU or VST3 format. The audio processing takes place in the H9000, while Emote gives you a convenient way to manage the hardware alongside the rest of your session.

For hands-on operation, the H9000 also provides front-panel control. MIDI, USB controllers and pedal or switch inputs support setups where you want to perform with effects as well as recall them.

Connect to your studio and expand as needed

Eight-channel analogue I/O, 16-channel USB audio and AES/EBU, ADAT and S/PDIF connections accommodate a wide range of studio systems. Three expansion slots accept optional Dante, MADI or Pro Tools HD cards, allowing you to choose the connection format that suits your installation.
