Dreadbox Psychosis

A six-channel Eurorack mixer with stereo spread, modulation and built-in effects.

Bring several voices into one mix

Psychosis provides six mixer channels, making it a natural companion for a collection of synth voices or several paths from a larger patch. Balance those sources in one place before sending the combined sound to the next stage of the system.

Give the mix a stereo shape

Stereo spread control helps place the combined sound across a stereo output field. An onboard LFO adds movement, allowing the mix to develop beyond a fixed balance. This is useful for multi-voice patches where the relationship between parts should feel active rather than simply stacked together.

Effects within the modular system

Reverb, delay, chorus and flanger are available within the module. Use them to add space, repetition or modulation to the mixed sources without immediately leaving the rack for another processor. Keeping these functions near the mixer makes it easier to adjust the overall presentation of a patch while playing.

A compact final stage

Psychosis occupies 10 HP and requires a powered Eurorack case. Current draw is 75 mA at +12 V and 15 mA at -12 V; a ribbon cable and mounting screws are included. It is particularly useful in a compact multi-voice system that needs mixing and stereo effects within a limited amount of panel space.
