Product overview
A return to the Nyx V1 design, combining paraphonic analogue synthesis, dual filtering and reverb.
Explore the filter architecture
Nyx Reissue offers a semi-modular signal path with dual-filter sound shaping. The filters provide a central way to move between focused melodic sounds and broader, more complex textures. Paraphonic operation introduces its own relationship between played notes and the shared sound-shaping stages, encouraging an approach distinct from a conventional polyphonic keyboard.
Envelopes that can become movement
Loopable envelopes can serve as repeating modulation sources as well as shape individual notes. Use them to create cyclical changes, moving textures or patterns whose character develops as the controls are adjusted. The semi-modular architecture allows compatible external control and modulation to become part of that behaviour.
Add a sense of space
Built-in reverb extends the instrument beyond a dry analogue voice. It can place a melodic line in a wider setting or help turn sustained tones into more atmospheric material. Keeping the reverb alongside the synthesis controls makes it easy to consider space and timbre together while designing a patch.
Fit it to your setup
Nyx Reissue uses a 42 HP format suitable for an appropriate Eurorack installation. Current requirements are 200 mA at +12 V and 110 mA at -12 V; desktop use requires a USB 5 V, 1 A supply. It suits musicians who enjoy an instrument that can begin with a playable internal path and grow into a more exploratory patched system.
