Product overview

A three-stage hybrid delay that turns echoes into an active part of a modular patch.

Character from the Erebus delay family

Nostalgia BL derives its delay circuit from Erebus and expands it into a dedicated Eurorack module. Its hybrid design offers a distinctive alternative to a clean, uniform repeat, useful for giving sequences a looser atmosphere or turning a simple sound into a layered texture.

Patch the individual stages

Separate delay-tap outputs make the stages accessible as signal sources. Route different taps to separate processing paths, combine them elsewhere in the system or use their relationship to build a more involved rhythmic effect. Two feedback paths provide further ways to influence how the repeats accumulate.

Put time under voltage control

A delay range of approximately 30 milliseconds to one second covers short thickening effects through to clearly separated repeats. Voltage control and an onboard LFO let the time behaviour move during the patch, opening up modulation and less predictable textures as well as straightforward echo.

Compact and ready for experimentation

The black-panel BL version occupies 10 HP and requires a powered Eurorack case. Current draw is 117 mA at +12 V and 25 mA at -12 V. Nostalgia suits systems where delay is intended to interact with modulation and routing, rather than sit only at the end of a finished voice.
