Built around the low end

Hades Reissue centres on one VCO reinforced by two sub-octaves. This gives the instrument a strong foundation for bass lines, sustained low notes and deliberately heavy electronic parts. Bass boost and drive provide further ways to shape the amount of weight and edge in the sound.

From a direct voice to a patched instrument

The semi-modular layout lets you begin with the internal signal path and expand into CV and gate patching when you want more control. Pair it with a compatible sequencer, use external modulation or make it part of a larger modular arrangement. The monophonic design keeps the focus on one forceful, clearly articulated voice.

Make it part of the rhythm

Hades is a useful partner for drum machines and sequencers because bass timbre, articulation and repetition can be adjusted together. MIDI adapter connectivity provides another integration option. Explore the balance between oscillator content, sub-octaves and drive in the context of the track, particularly where kick and bass need to occupy distinct spaces.

A flexible physical format

The 42 HP instrument can form part of a suitable Eurorack system or serve as a compact desktop synth. Eurorack draw is 120 mA at +12 V and 60 mA at -12 V. Desktop operation requires a USB 5 V, 1 A power supply. Plan the powering and control connections for the setup you intend to use.
