Bring the voice together

Eudemonia BL starts with a three-input mixer, providing a convenient place to combine oscillators or other signals before filtering. Balancing the sources at this stage can be a large part of the patch’s character, especially when using different waveforms or an additional noise source.

Low-pass and high-pass shaping

A resonant 24 dB low-pass filter is followed in series by an 18 dB high-pass filter. Together they let you define both the upper and lower boundaries of the sound, from a rounded bass voice to a narrower, more focused texture. The serial arrangement makes the two filters part of one shaping path.

Finish the articulation

An exponential VCA supplies the final amplitude-control stage, so an envelope or other suitable control signal can determine how the sound enters and leaves the mix. Signal and CV indication help you see activity while patching and checking the voice.

A useful centre for a small system

This is the black-panel BL version. At 10 HP, Eudemonia can cover several functions that a compact voice needs, leaving more space for modulation and additional sound sources. It requires a powered Eurorack case and draws 61 mA at +12 V and 69 mA at -12 V.
