Product overview

The Buzz Audio Velox IC is a two-channel optical compressor for recording, stereo buses and mix processing. Soft-knee gain reduction is combined with switchable attack, release and ratio controls, while a dry/wet mix allows parallel compression directly in the hardware.

The IC version uses high-grade integrated-circuit op-amps. A sidechain bass filter reduces low-frequency pumping, and an optional transformer output can provide an alternate coloured path.
