One reference.
Multiple formats.

Keep audio and video equipment working together with a configurable reference generator for recording, post-production and broadcast systems.

The DXD-8 creates up to four independent references and distributes them across eight assignable BNC outputs. Choose the signals your system needs today, then add network synchronisation or time code when your workflow requires it.

BUILT AROUND YOUR SYSTEM

Choose the output. Keep the reference.

Route word clock, AES, SD or HD video sync, and 10 MHz to the output pairs you need. Different output rates can share the same reference, giving mixed-format systems a common timing foundation.

A fallback reference

Connect a second external source as backup. If a reference fails, the DXD-8 can move to the alternate source or its internal oscillator, then re-lock when the reference returns.

Control from your browser

Use the built-in web interface to monitor and configure the clock remotely. Store ten presets for recurring setups.

Power redundancy

Dual DC inputs support automatic switching between power sources. A second external supply is required for redundant operation.

OPTIONAL FIRMWARE UPGRADES

Build the clock your workflow needs.

PTP network sync. The DXD8/PTP option adds IEEE 1588 PTP v1 and v2, including AES67 and SMPTE 2059 profiles. Operate as a Grandmaster or follower to connect network timing with conventional audio and video references. This option does not include AVB.

LTC time code. The DXD/LTC option adds two independent time-code generators for simultaneous LTC streams.

The standard DXD-8 is supplied without these firmware upgrades. GPS/GNSS and OCXO hardware upgrades are also available separately.
