Product overview

The Black Box Analog Design HG-2 is a stereo valve saturation processor for mix buses, mastering chains and individual tracks. Custom transformers feed cascaded pentode and triode stages, with a separate parallel 12AX7 circuit that can be blended to add harmonics, density and natural peak rounding.

Independent Pentode, Triode and Saturation controls make it possible to move from subtle enhancement to obvious colour, while the Density and Air circuits provide additional control over drive and upper-frequency presence.
