The Audix D6 is a compact dynamic instrument microphone voiced for kick drum, floor tom, bass cabinet and other sources that need deep low-frequency extension with clear attack. Its cardioid pattern helps control spill and feedback, while the VLM diaphragm and transformerless output keep the sound defined over long cable runs.

Its robust moving-coil design is well suited to close placement and high sound-pressure levels, making it practical for both studio sessions and live production.
