The Audeze MM-500 is an open-back planar magnetic reference headphone developed for professional mixing and production. Its tonal balance is intended to support reliable translation, while the rigid metal chassis, 90 mm drivers and relatively efficient design make it practical for daily use from studio interfaces as well as dedicated headphone amplifiers.

The open-back design prioritises natural spatial presentation and low resonance, making it most suitable for critical listening, mixing and detailed production work.
