The Audeze LCD-4z is a high-efficiency open-back flagship planar magnetic headphone with a low 15-ohm impedance. It combines the large-scale, low-distortion presentation of the LCD-4 family with easier amplifier matching, using nano-grade diaphragms, Fluxor magnets and Fazor waveguides.

The open-back design prioritises natural spatial presentation and low resonance, making it most suitable for critical listening, mixing and detailed production work.
