ASM Hydrasynth Desktop/Rack delivers the eight-voice Hydrasynth engine in a compact module for studio desks and rack installations. Its 24 velocity-sensitive pads offer polyphonic aftertouch, so you can play and shape individual notes without connecting a keyboard.

Three oscillators per voice, WaveScan morphing and four Mutant processors provide a wide range of starting points, from focused basses and leads to evolving pads. Dual filters, five envelopes, five LFOs and a 32-slot modulation matrix give you detailed control over how each patch develops.

Eight macros bring complex changes onto the front panel, with an arpeggiator and effects for performance and sound design. USB, DIN MIDI and CV/Gate connections integrate the module with other instruments. Rack ears are included for 5U mounting.
