Product overview

The API 512v updates the classic 512 microphone preamp with a continuously variable output control. This allows the input gain and output level to be balanced independently, from clean high-headroom capture to more obvious transformer and 2520 op-amp drive.

It is suited to professional tracking chains where low noise, repeatable gain and dependable headroom are more important than unnecessary processing.
