Product overview

The AEA N28 is a compact active stereo ribbon microphone containing two matched figure-8 elements fixed at 90 degrees for true Blumlein capture. It provides a natural, phase-coherent stereo image from a single microphone, making it a practical choice for drum overheads, strings, ensembles, room ambience and location recording.

Its ribbon transducer is intended to capture transients and upper frequencies smoothly, making it a useful alternative to condenser microphones on sources that can otherwise become hard or overly bright.
